SugarKay standing out as a Nigerian Singer, Dancer and Songwriter.
 
 The R n B and Dancehall artist can be identified with a sweet style that attracts the audience. 
 John-Kamen Bonaventure also known as Sugarkay hails from Anambra state of Nigeria. He speaks of his life as a life

 "As a little boy my hobby was dancing and i could recall thst i never lost any dancing competition apart from one,after which i cried my eyes out. Also in my senior secondary      days i would skip classes and reading to attend choir practice in a local church. I still sneak out of school to go for shows.

  I started writing songs at the age of 10. The first song i recorded was Area Chick at gboko in Makurdi."

  Born in the new haven area of Enugu State he has lived in Lagos, Abuja, Ph, London and Enugu.

      An Undergraduate of Madonna University he tells us;
  " My dad Prof A.U John-Kamen, The Dean of Management and social science in Madonna University always gave me moral support
     I want to express my feelings through words and melodies in a way that could move not just Africa as a country but the world at large"

 Sugarkay is a Product of Cenacle Theatre, Madonna University's most exalted unsigned forum.

   "All we did was hiphop, Acting, Dancehals, RnB and Dancing. We have produced a lot of talented people like Kelly Hansome, Zeroz, Genesis, Davinchy and Fit Talk(F2)"

 This year on the 5th of March 2012 he was officially signed to the record label division of Maxibeats Entertainment and is already working on dropping his first official single and collaborations.

   "im happy doing what i love doing. I know that very soon i will get the ears of over 300 million people listening to our Maxibeats Vibes."
